MEET THE TEAM
JAMES
James diversified the family farm into Organic Free-Range egg production in 2007. He enjoys the everyday challenges that poultry farming brings, is committed to producing the highest quality produce and making sure the hens, wife Angela and son Fraser are kept happy!
ANGELA
Angela, in 2014, left her previous role as an NHS Project Manager to work with us full time. She manages the daily running of all admin and officed based responsibilities here at Border Eggs. With son Fraser joining her and James in April 2019, he has certainly made sure she's still being kept on her toes!
PAUL
Paul joined us in 2019 and comes from a farming background. He says "I find my job here so fulfilling and enjoy the new challenges that I face on a daily basis. It's a challenging job at times but being part of a great team that pulls together to get the job done is brilliant!"
NORMAN
Norman is our longest serving employee and he brings years of experience (eggsperience as we like to call it!) to us here on farm.
He is ever reliable and happy to help, he's seen it all!
RACHEL
Rachel joined us in 2017 and she likes that her role here is more challenging than her previous career;
"It's a good change from hairdressing and I enjoy working as a team. Border Eggs has always been like a second family!"
BEN
Ben has been with us for a couple of years now and loves that there's never a dull moment here on farm. He says the team get him through each day; "We are an odd and crazy group, but it just works! There is always an excess of challenges to keep things interesting."
AARON
Aaron is a recent addition to the team and assists with general maintenance, welding, fixing and fitting.

GEMMA
Gemma is an ideal fit here at Border Eggs, with her previous poultry experience. She says; "I enjoy working with the birds and making sure they have everything they need. We're a mad bunch here, there's always lots of laughs and giggles and that's what makes us a great team!"
JENNY
Jenny assists with daily admin such as ensuring all policies and procedures are compliant with guidelines and best practice. She also manages web design and maintenance and other office based roles. Always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble!
HOLLY
Holly, our 4 legged companion, has been with us since 2012. Main roles on farm include; chasing foxes away, ensuring health and safety is kept to a high standard by wearing her hi-vis (yes, really!) and greeting all staff and visitors with her favourite toy, a smiley face and a waggy tail!
